The Maacher Spiel is a memory game in which a number of cards featuring well-known Grevenmacher landmarks or symbols are played in pairs.
The cards are shuffled and placed face down, so that at first you don't know where each card is. One of the players begins by turning over two cards of his choice, so that they are visible to all the players for a short time. If the images are not identical, he must turn over the two cards and the next player must play. If the images on the two cards are identical, the player can keep these two cards (in this case, he can also turn over two other cards). The game continues until all the cards have been turned over successfully.
The winner is the player who manages to turn over the most pairs.
