The two-storey exhibition presents the history of book printing with a timeline and many exciting objects from the period before Gutenberg to the present day in a clear and understandable way.
Visitors can also experience the impressive collection of historical machines whose noises can be triggered at the touch of a button allowing them to experience the museum's maxim: "Print is alive". Finally, you have the opportunity to print your own souvenir on a historic hand press for free. The designs change every month.

One section of the museum is dedicated to Jean Dieudonné, the founder of a dynasty of card makers who settled in Grevenmacher in 1754 and mainly produced for the foreign market.
During this time, he had to defy major political changes. For example, following the French Revolution and the annexation of Luxembourg in 1795, crowned figures were no longer allowed to be depicted on playing cards.

Guided tours for groups are designed to suit individual requirements.
Participants are accompanied by a professional guide for an hour through the fascinating world of letterpress printing.
They also have the opportunity to experience the art of hand typesetting up close and then print a souvenir on one of the historic hand presses. We are happy to discuss a motif specially selected for the visit with the organising staff. The prints are included in the price and can be taken home by the participants.
